Getting Rich Slowly Is the Worst Way to Get Wealthy

The money gurus offer the worst advice in history: get rich slow.

They argue we can only get rich slow and everything else is delusional. Whenever any finfluencer says to “shut up and wait,” the masses cheer loudly — like the person is Batman saving Gotham City from the Joker — and the social media post goes viral.

The big problem with slow wealth (that no one talks about)

The FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) & FatFire movements have become popular over the last few years.

Gurus like Mr Money Moustache have peddled the wisdom that if you just work a job you hate for a long time, and invest in index funds, one day you’ll be rich enough to retire.

At the same time you should be frugal and act like a tightarse to your friends. I don’t buy this crap.  Trading happiness and freedom today for some future tomorrow is what the American Dream is built on.

It forces people to make bad decisions and ignore their short term happiness and desires. I prefer to live for now.

If you follow the slow way to building wealth, then you may become a millionaire on paper at 65 like Dave Ramsay preaches.

The trouble is your best days and highest levels of energy will be behind you. You might be rich but it’s getting too late to enjoy.

The question is: why wait?

The Future Of Marketing: Harnessing AI With A Human Touch

You know that eerie moment when you’re halfway through an article or ad and you realize – “Hold on a second, a human didn’t write this. An AI did!”? We’ve all been there. It’s a bit like biting into a juicy apple, only to realize it’s made of plastic.

Sure, we’ve got AI now – it’s pumping out content faster than a popcorn machine at a movie theater. But truth be told, a lot of AI content lacks the warmth, the humor, the “je ne sais quoi” that makes us human. That, my friends, is the puzzle we’re facing in today’s marketing world.

But here’s the kicker: with just a bit of human editing and smart prompting, AI content can transform from simply good – to indistinguishable from top human writers. That’s the sweet spot we’re aiming for, and that’s exactly what we’re going to explore in this conversation.

Understanding the Limitations of AI-Generated Content

Before we delve into the nitty-gritty of why human editing is crucial, it’s essential to understand why AI can’t go at it alone. Let’s unpack the limitations of AI-generated content.

4 Tips for Gaining Influencers and Building Celebrity Brands (with Josh Snow, CEO of SNOW Teeth Whitening)

Have you heard of Josh Snow? No, not John Snow… JOSH Snow.

While he may not be the Game of Thrones star, I think you’ll find his story just as compelling (and it has a better ending).  So, here’s what I learned from a 17-year-old Josh Snow, who — much like other young whizzes — found a way to crack the branding code EARLY.

But plot twist! This founder of celebrity whitening brand, SNOW Teeth Whitening, and the so-called “Elon Musk of white teeth”, is no longer 17… but he DID make his first million at that age.

But first, let’s lay the groundwork and remind the kids that dropping out of college isn’t what makes you successful – BUT having a darn good idea and an ability to execute IS.

Now, let’s dive in! Here are 4 tips that I learned from the experiences of a 17-year-old kid that I’m really excited to share with you.

#1 – GO FOR THE BLUE OCEAN

Josh was a highschooler when he learned how to target digital ads with AdSense, which at the time was fresh on the scene. After he mastered the new tool, he thought “Why not go 1 level higher – instead of selling others’ products, I’ll sell my own.”

And while Josh has created a myriad of businesses since, his true passion project and standout is Snow Whitening.

So, I asked him, “How did you learn to compete in the seemingly saturated space of whitening?”

He said that branding your unique space in the ocean is vital. At the time of his business ideation, there were only 2 major competitors in the space – one with a red tube, the other in a blue tube. (Both just so happened to be the colors of our analogy.)

You want to move your products to and create businesses in your BLUE OCEAN.

If you’re unfamiliar with the “blue ocean” theory, let me explain.
